Aloha and Iaorana,

My name is Vaina Barton and I am a Polynesian photographer specializing in wedding and portrait photograph. I was born and raised in Tahiti.

I graduated from Brigham Young University of Hawaii with a Bachelor in Piano Pedagogy and Art 2-dimensional. You might say "why photography then?". Well, I have always loved photographing people, places, and everything else since I was 16. And finally, in 2008 I have decided to go for my passion and started my own photography business with my husband, Kaumana Barton.

I love what I do and am ever thankful to be able to do it for a living. I love creating outstanding work for clients seeking something artistic, emotional, special and memorable. Our motto: "Making memories to cherish".

I work hard to make my clients feel comfortable enough to let their guards down and be themselves in front of the camera because that is when the best photographs are taken.

I am available for weddings in Kailua-Kona Hawaii, really... any islands in Hawaii. I also offer my portrait photography services for clients seeking maternity / pregnancy photos, family photos, baby and infant pictures, children photography, and engagement sessions.

Rachel

Rachel was very fun to work with. We both had a great time! She was kind of shy but I think I pulled her out of her little shell. Good Job by the way... Thanks Rachel!

This pose really brought her out of her shy shell!!! It was a hilarious moment.

Also, one of my favorite thing to do since I started photography is, the black and white with some colors.
I Love doing this because to me, it really brings out the game of colors!
